Athens, the city
who never sleeps, is famous for its movemented night life. It is a
city full of bars, café and clubs for every mood, every style
and every circumstance.
Many opportunities are offered to the visitors to enjoy a good evening
and an exiting night.
One can begin with a coffee in one of the many cosy café around
Athens's centre, and then choose between the incredible quantity of
bars playing all kinds of music from live music, disco, jazz, international
and Greek pop, traditional Greek music, heavy metal, house music or
hip hop.
The night is finishing in one of the may big or small clubs, full
of people partying from late at night until early the next morning.
Athens also proposes a good gay and lesbian scene mostly concentrated
in Makrigianni, south of the Temple of the Olympian Zeus or in the
district of Exarchia.

Bars are every where in Athens. They are usually open from 6 pm until
2 or 3 am (in Greece, bar's bosses and servitors never put the client
out: they wait that everybody lives to close their place).
The main neighbourhoods concentrating the biggest amount of bars are
Kolonaki, Exarchia, Glyfada, Kifissia, Thision and Psiri

During winter, the main night clubs are located in the town centre
around Syndagma Square, in Psiri's district, in the neighbourhood
of Pangrati and Kolonaki or near Sigrou Avenue on which most of striptease
clubs are situated. Night clubs are opened from 10 pm until 6 or 7
am.
The majority of these big clubs are shifting place to go around Glyfada
area during summertime.
